Hakone Ropeway: Soar over the volcanic valley of Owakudani, where you can see sulfurous vents and (on clear days) spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.

Lake Ashi Cruise: A picturesque pirate-ship-style cruise on a caldera lake formed by a volcanic eruption, with postcard-perfect views of the surrounding mountains and, again, Mt. Fuji in the distance.

Description: Drive up to the 5th Station (subject to weather and road conditions). This halfway point up the mountain offers breathtaking, up-close views of the peak and the valley below. It’s a sacred and awe-inspiring location.

Day 5 – Nagano → Tateyama Alpine Route → Toyama

Distances: Nagano → Tateyama (90 km / 2 hrs.) /Tateyama → Toyama (60 km / 1.5 hrs.) Total Distance: ~150 km

Day 9 – Osaka → Hiroshima & Miyajima Excursion

Distance: Osaka ↔ Hiroshima (340 km each way / 1.5 hrs. by Bullet Train)

Morning: Transfer to Shin-Osaka Station and take the Bullet Train (Shinkansen) to Hiroshima. Experience the speed and efficiency of Japan’s famous rail network.

Morning: Miyajima Island Tour.

Ferry to Miyajima: A short, scenic ferry ride to the sacred island.

Itsukushima Shrine & Floating Torii Gate: The great Torii gate appears to float on the water at high tide. It is one of Japan’s most famous views. Explore the shrine, built over the water.

Day 10 – Osaka → Seoul, South Korea (D) Flight

A. Changes to Itinerary & Services

  • Itinerary Adjustments: We reserve the right to alter routes, attractions, or other details of the tour before or after booking due to circumstances beyond our control, such as bad weather, natural disasters, accidents, or logistical issues.
  • Hotel Accommodations: Specific hotels are subject to change based on availability, especially during citywide events. We will substitute a hotel of a similar class if necessary.
  • Transportation Delays:We are not responsible for delays or schedule changes in flights, trains, buses, or cruises. Any additional expenses incurred due to such delays are the passenger’s responsibility, and we reserve the right to claim these costs. Itineraries will be adjusted accordingly without additional compensation.

B. Payments & Pricing

  • Payment Methods: All payments must be made by check, cashier’s check, or money order. Credit card payments will incur a 3.5% processing fee. Please email a copy of your payment confirmation.
  • Price Fluctuations: The tour package price is subject to change due to currency exchange rate fluctuations, airline ticket price increases close to the departure date, or if the group size falls below 25 passengers (which may incur a 5-10% supplement).
  • Airline Costs: Quoted airline rates are approximate and subject to change until fully booked. A deposit is required immediately to confirm airline reservations, as quotes can expire within 24 hours.

C. Cancellations, Refunds & Unused Services

  • Cancellation Fee: A fee of USD $100 per person will be applied to any cancellation, refund, or exchange request.

  • Non-Refundable Services: Payments made for airline tickets are non-refundable. There will be no refunds for any unused portions of the tour (e.g., meals, entrance fees, hotels, sightseeing) due to unavoidable circumstances.
  • No Refund for Delays:We are not liable for damages or refunds due to delays in air travel.

D. Group & Booking Details

  • Group Size: Tours require a minimum of 25 passengers to operate. Groups with fewer than 25 may be subject to a small-group supplement and may not have a dedicated tour manager upon arrival.

  • Booking Advice: To secure the best price, we advise booking at least 60 days prior to departure, as internal ticket rates often increase closer to the travel date.
  • Validity: Published packages and prices are only guaranteed for our fixed departure dates. Rates for other dates are subject to change based on availability and peak travel seasons.

E. Passenger Responsibilities & Information

  • Travel to Hub City: Passengers are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the tour’s starting point (hub city).
  • Insurance: It is extremely important that you obtain comprehensive overseas travel insurance before your departure.
  • Damages: You are financially responsible for any damage caused to hotels or coaches during your stay.
  • Visa & Special Requests: Visa information is subject to change, and it is your responsibility to secure the necessary travel documents. Special requests with airlines (seating, meals, wheelchair assistance) are not guaranteed.
  • Children: Passengers aged 12 and above are considered adults. Children aged 2-11 must share a room with an adult.

F. Hotel & Luggage Information

  • Confirmation & Timing: Hotel confirmations and airline reservations will be provided 7-15 days prior to departure.
  • Check-in/out: Standard hotel check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
  • Room Types: For triple rooms, a rollaway bed will be provided for the third person, and the room size may be the same as a standard double room.
  • Event Blockouts: During major international events, we may need to accommodate guests in hotels outside the primary city, which may alter the itinerary.
  • Luggage: We strongly recommend you limit your luggage to one medium checked bag (max 20 kg) and one carry-on bag (max 7 kg) per person, in accordance with coach and internal flight regulations.
